Talking vs. writing
Calling is great. You get your problem solved instantly. You have no worries. Fast. Easy. Cheap. But how about the person you are talking to?
When she is doing something and gets interrupted, her way of talking to you won’t be the same as if she expects the call. It is much better if your provider, client, investor, potential client, or colleague knows in advance the purpose of your call. They win. You win.
In Spain, people tend to prefer talking and maybe not answering emails. But emails or messenger might be a better way to communicate. Use only phone calls when it is really a very urgent matter. Most of the problems you have can wait for a while. Really. The world goes on and I’m sure you have tons of things to do.
