Pitch + Convince + Persuade
You are ptiching all the time. Your ptich changes depending on the people you are talking to: investors, clients, FFF, providers, or competitors. It’s not an error, you shall pitch to competitors as well. AS you imagine, the most interesting people to talk to are clients.
Among clients, some know about what you are doing and others not. If they know what you are talking about, the know what options they have, and if they are conviced they need you or your competitor for that task, it’s only a matter of persuading them. It can take 1 day or 1 year, but it’s worth trying. Maybe your competitor does it faster than you, but you will learn a lot if you ask people the right questions.
However, if you are spending too much time convincing them, stop. First they need to change their mind.
