Some words about me
The new bio (October 2013)
I’m always learning, trying to be a little bit better every day. I enjoy creating: innovation is in my DNA. You fail if you don’t try. I also learn from all the people I meet everywhere I go. I love the journey from the idea to the first revenues through customer development and business model innovation. Skilled in getting things done. Hard worker. My background is a mixture of Technology (MSc and PhD in Electrical Engineering) and Business (MSc in Management and Business Administration). Since I was 8, languages have been one of my hobbies, so tauyou <language technology> connects the dots. Focusing now on building great natural language processing products for the translation industry.
The previous bio (2012)
Diego started learning languages when he was 8, English first, then German, and after some years, French. However, in college he studied Electrical Engineering (an MSc and a PhD) and Management and Business Administration. In 2007, his passion for languages and his technical skills converged in tauyou <language technology>, a technical company specialized in machine translation, natural processing tools, and process automation for the localization industry. Since 2010, he has taught courses in entrepreneurship, operations management, sales and marketing, and translation technologies at several universities. Besides having fun with his family, he enjoys reading and running in his free time.
