Teams are important
Maybe one way of seeing people in action not at their positions could be an innovative way of recruiting. Running in small groups, for instance. It’s very interesting how they behave, maybe they run too fast, or slow, care for the other member of the team, or follow their own goals. Nothing is totally good or bad, it depends on your company, its long term goal, the people already working there, among many others. Probably, you should take it into account when recruiting. For a SME, getting talent involved is not easy, and you must be 200% convinced.
Team
You need a great team to do great things. If you have a B team, you cannot get A things done. That’s life. Be realistic.
Building a superteam is not easy. Excellent players have several options, where they usually will be paid higher salaries. You can only convince them by sharing the vision, making them feel that they will be part of it. Not only feel, but being part of it. Shares. Responsibility. Think in the long term.
The key thing is that everyone in the founding team must have passion for the product or service. Passion makes a résumé 1000 times better. No passion, no greatness, no success.
